Mainly just some minor bug fixes. I found it didnt work right on a few maps, or only allowed dirt, so I fixed that. There are probably a few more items added, but nothing that sticks out.
Is there a step-by-step guide on how to set up the TerraFarm stuff, including maps and vehicles? I've tried to get it all set up on my own and I've searched the web for information. I've found some stuff, but a lot of is doesn't match up together. Honestly, I'm a little older now and I'm not as savvy as I used to be when it comes to mods. Any guidance is greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to build mods.
You can definitely use it on a 2x map. I've been using it on a 2x map as I test out new things, and it works fine. You do get a warning that pops up when you first start, saying it may not work as intended, but you can ignore that. The big difference is how much it deforms the ground. It's not a massively different thing though.
So yes, after all that wordiness, you can use this on a 2x and there isn't a massive amount of difference.
Technically, either TerraFarm version will work on both 2x and 4x maps. If you use the standard TerraFarm, and open a 4x map, it will come up with an error saying the density of the map isn't supported and TerraFarm may not work as intended. You can generally just ignore that, and there really aren't any issues.
However, using a TerraFarm meant for a 4x map, one, you don't get that error message anymore. And two, it will interact with the map in a manner closer to how the landscape tools work. It just makes it a bit more smoother.
Just tested it, and this TerraFarm worked just fine on Loma. So it's going to have to be a conflict on your end. Make sure you only have one version of TerraFarm in your mod folder. There is also a garbage mod, I think by Redneck Modding, that will prevent TerraFarm from working.
Well, I tried with just the map and this Terrafarm mod in the modfolder. The map loads up, but when I buy like a shovel the game crashes.. Unfortunately.

this version only has a discharge of dirt can’t change it to anything else is that the way it’s set up to be?
That has been fixed.
i just tried on plaitnum dlc map and the msg came up about density so i dont no what happn i went back to my older tf folder lol
This is just for 4x maps. If you're using a standard map, the other version of TF I have is the way to go.
Both versions have the same mods, they are just geared towards different sized maps.
thanks man i appreciate it alot
what would happen if you use this on a 2x map any difference

Hello
What does it mean when you do terrafarm for 4x maps or 2x maps etc... ???

Okay, thank you very much for the answer.
Then I understand better....
Does this also work for Loma Montana? I tried an other one, that didn't work.
I have had no issues with it working on any map. So it should work unless the map itself is causing a conflict.
Then I guess it should be a map issue cause it doesn't work on Loma. Let's find out how to fix that.

Ah, okay. I think I have some mods from RMC. I'm going to test it. TX
